Someday

Someday

Someday, I will grow up

No longer childish.

I will become the person I want to be.

Be an independent person.

Be a dependable person.

You will see the worth of me.

Someday, I have to hold my head up

Try not to cry.

Try not to look back.

I eventually realize that

Life is about moving on

And accepting the changes

Someday when I close my eyes
I think of the time, even though
Were far apart from now
I don’t care about the painful things
I’ve live through
I continue to live

I wish someday and somehow
I will still be me
But prettier, happier and strong

A poem about poetry

Differ from a diary
Without a beautiful long sentence
A short sentence consists of simple words
You will be surprised
How amazing it is

Differ from a photograph
Without the visual stimulus
Black ink on white paper
Appears ordinary
But cannot be neglected

Differ from a novel
Without detail description
You will still wonder at
How incredible the words are
